Remote support for the terrified !

If you are somewhat terrified of computers, I can provide remote (or in person) support to help you with the smaller, everyday tasks that you may wish to be able to do.

I can share your screen and guide you through the processes and if need be, help by clicking and/or typing when required.

This service is going to be particularly useful for the demographic that has (for whatever reason) avoided using computers hitherto now, but do have a use case in mind that they wish to explore. This could start with something simple like shopping online or processing photos.

It is important to start with a repeatable use case because repeating the process regularly will provide you the familiarity that will help it become an automatic process that does not evoke terror !

Most people are fine with using their email service because it is a fundamental use case that they have been regularly repeating since they first started using computers.

It can be useful to have help with something new while you get familiar without the anxiety of facing it alone. Once familiarised you should be able to work by yourself while always having the option to call for help if required.

Alternatively, it could be that you are not motivated to learn about computers and would prefer to simply have somebody available to help regularly and spend more time on other things.

In order to do remote support we would first need to have access to your own gmail address and have the chrome browser. I can setup and install these things in person if needed and that would enable us to have remote support sessions in the future.
